College Station, TX – (FP) Jimbo Fisher and his staff are not afraid to go anywhere to sign a recruit but this is certainly a first for the Aggie program.
This time A&M has gone overseas and have offered 6’9 502lb Kaito Yamamoto from Nara, Japan. He’ll be making an official visit to College Station next month.
365 Recruiting Director of Player Analysis Greg Banks says, Yamamoto is a “freak of human kind”.
Though he’s never played American Football he’s an undefeated sumo wrestler in Japan. Banks went on to say “his strength and agility are mind boggling; but what will blow away even the most veteran recruiter, is his speed. At over 500 pounds Yamamoto runs an astonishing 4.8 40, while bench pressing over 850 pounds”.
He also has a certain fondness for turtles and owns over 200 of them as pets. He has the ability to remember each turtle’s name, according to a recent interview.
Texas A&M sees him as a Nose-guard but Tight End is also a possibility said one Aggie recruiter.
While in the states several schools are also trying to obtain visits including Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Wyoming, Ole Miss, USC and Yale.
Wyoming is the only program that said they would use him at running back if Yamamoto were to sign with them.
