Alabama to expand Bryant–Denny Stadium to 420,000 Capacity

Tuscaloosa, AL – Alabama’s Board of Development has approved funds to increase the seating capacity of Bryant-Denny Stadium from 101,821 to 420,000 in time for the start of the 2020 season. This will make the facility not only the largest sports venue in America but with this expansion Bryant-Denny becomes the largest in the entire world.

The expansion will also include a state of the art Roller-coaster called, The Rammer Jammer Slammer, A Bass Pro Shop, a Lazy River and a Walgreens, all will be located inside the stadium.

“The popularity of Alabama Football  during the Nick Saban era  has made this expansion possible,” said Dan Arnold of Facility Talk Inc. “The demand for tickets to Bama football games is unprecedented with a current waiting list for season tickets at well over 500,000,” Arnold revealed.

Some 22,000 workers will work around the clock during  off season months on this massive project with a target date of completion being August 8, 2020 at 2:30PM.

Joe Namath is scheduled to be on hand for the ribbing cutting ceremony.
