California Psychologist wants College Football players to have cellphones during games

San Francisco, CA – A California Psychologist says the NCAA should allow players to check their Social Media during games. Diana Perez director of the Sports Medicine Cerebral Institute thinks this should happen now.

“Smart phone dependency has become a certified addiction that affects millions of college aged student athletes and is approaching epidemic proportion” said Perez. “An abrupt stop for a three hour period can cause withdrawals and in some cases will cause hallucinations and possible diarrhea. This is a very serious situation that needs to be addressed now before we have an episode”. There is absolutely nothing wrong with letting these vulnerable young men have some “me” time to check their Instagram and Twitter or even return text during one of these football recitals. It will also give them time to adjust their costumes and be mentally prepared before they get back to this violent game. I plan do everything in my power to fight for the young men. I’m petitioning the NCAA and will organize a march to allow cell phones on the sidelines so these players can stop their suffering” added Perez.
