UCF still claiming National Championship even after loss to LSU in Fiesta Bowl

Orlando, FL (FP) – University of Central Florida is still claiming the National Championship despite losing to LSU in their bowl game on New Year’s Day.

“No team has won 25 out of 26 games over the past two years;” said Tyler MacNewton of the UCF Championship Committee, “yes Clemson had a great year but they didn’t win 25 games in a row and that’s why we’re back to back National Champs. We had LSU on the ropes and were  just one play away from putting that game into OT where we would have easily won. Any educated college football fan knows that we are the best team in college football. Also, our basketball team basically beat Duke in the NCAA tournament if the refs had not cheated us plus we have a player on that team who is almost 8 feet tall”

A National Championship victory parade was scheduled for the team but was put on hold by the Orlando Special Events Office.
